IEEE AR APS - Conferencia: Radiofrequency identification (RFID)
Conferencia: Radiofrequency identification (RFID): a brief description of the technology and its impact.
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is a technology that uses communication through radio to exchange data between a reader and an electronic tag attached to an object, for the purpose of identification and tracking. In the near future it is expected that RFID technology will continue to proliferate in our daily lives the way that bar code technology did over the last fifty years. The technology has a wide variety of applications in nearly all fields of our daily life and has developed to become quite mature. The talk will describe the different technologies, applications, and standards in an effort to give a comprehensive overview on the subject.
Speaker
